Putting a quality show together from audition day to 1st performance is a lot of work. It would not be possible were it not for the numerous volunteers that assist us every season. We are in search of CPM parents, students and alumni to help us with any and all aspects of putting a show together.

Working on a show gives parents the opportunity to learn what it takes to put on a show, develop a deeper appreciation for their child's talents and commitment, and show by example the benefits of giving back to your community

Good with tools? Then contact Diane Smith our Artistic Director. She designs and builds sets for every CPM show.

Like to sew?- Our costumer Sharon Byrd is always in need of parents to help create, sew and repair costumes.

Like to paint? - Laura Miller welcomes parents who are handy with a paint brush to assist her with the numerous backdrops and set pieces she has to paint.

If you are a student who wants to be involved in theatre but not as a performer, CPM is a great place to learn new skills and become an active member of our technical team.

While volunteering with us you not only earn service hours but you can also learn about many aspects of technical theatre such as stage management, scenic design, set construction, props, run crew, sound, lighting, and spotlight.
